Orbit advises Futury Capital on oversubscribed final closing of EUR 47m Fund III.

Futury Capital has successfully held the final closing of its third venture capital fund at EUR 47m, exceeding its initial target. The fund brings together a cross‑state alliance of German public and private investors and invests in technology-driven, scalable companies. Its strategy aims to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Southwest Germany, with a particular focus on regional tech start-ups, while pan-European investments remain possible.

Investors include the federal states of Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz, and Saarland, as well as KfW Capital, and more than 45 private investors, supporting the fund’s mission to strengthen innovation and sustainable growth.

Orbit’s GP team advised Futury Capital on all legal, tax and regulatory aspects of the fund structuring and fundraising.
