Orbit advised U2V on the structuring and first closing of its EUR 60m Deep Tech Fund, supporting the transformation of Europe’s leading research into scalable industrial innovation. The fund will invest across Europe at pre-seed and seed stage, focusing on AI and novel computing, industrial technologies, and clean technologies. The fund benefits from strong support from anchor LP Jungheinrich AG via Uplift Ventures, alongside German Mittelstand investors and experienced industry leaders.

Founded by Philipp Semmer, Michael Schmitt, Johannes Triebs, and Moritz von Klot, the fund strengthens the link between academia and industry and helps advance Europe’s technological capabilities.

Orbit’s GP team advised on all legal, regulatory, and tax aspects of the fund formation and structuring.
