Orbit advises EIF on its largest investment of EUR 150m in an infrastructure fund.

The European Investment Fund (EIF) signed a EUR 150m commitment to White Summit Capital Decarbonisation Infrastructure Fund II (WDIF II). This represents the EIF’s largest commitment to an infrastructure fund to date.

The key objectives of EIF’s investment include the transition to clean energy, renewables integration, sustainable transport, and a circular economy. WDIF II is dedicated to the decarbonisation of relevant infrastructure assets and to addressing the funding gap in the energy transition mid market.

Orbit advised the EIF on all legal aspects and helped to ensure alignment with EIF’s specific investment requirements and policy goals.
