Orbit advises GREENPEAK on obtaining full BaFin license.

GREENPEAK Partners has obtained full AIFM authorization (“Vollerlaubnis”) from BaFin, Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority.

The license qualifies GREENPEAK as a fully regulated alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) and enables the firm to manage private equity and other alternative investment funds as well as to structure and distribute fund vehicles across the EEA under the EU passport – including strategies with significant scale and complexity.

Achieving the full license represents a key step in GREENPEAK’s evolution as an institutional investment platform and provides a reliable regulatory framework to support future expansion.

The license was successfully obtained with legal guidance from Orbit's GP team.
