Orbit advises Vireo Ventures on Electrification Fund I EUR 50m closing.

Orbit advised Vireo Ventures on the final closing of its Electrification Fund I at EUR 50m – above target in a challenging fundraising environment.

The fund, supported by investors such as European Investment Fund, NRW.BANK as well as utilities including Encevo, VERBUND, and EnBW New Ventures, renowned family offices, and sector veterans, backs early-stage European founders driving the transition to an all-electrified future. It has already invested in 17 startups advancing grid optimization, heat decarbonization, and EV infrastructure.

Orbit’s GP Advisory team advised on all legal, regulatory, and tax matters related to the fund’s structuring and fundraising.
