Orbit advises KfW Capital on its second co-investment under the Deutschlandfonds in Quantum Systems.

KfW Capital has completed a second co-investment in Quantum Systems under the Deutschlandfonds Co-Investment program. The co-investment was implemented together with HV Capital, and was made under ScaleUpDirect, KfW Capital’s instrument for growth-stage co-investments targeting innovative technology companies with high European strategic relevance.

The co-investments illustrate the potential of ScaleUpDirect to mobilise private capital for later-stage investments. It forms part of KfW Capital’s broader efforts to strengthen growth-stage financing in the German venture capital market and to support companies that contribute to Europe's technological sovereignty and resilience.

Orbit’s LP advisory has supported KfW Capital in developing and structuring the legal framework for its co-investment program as well as in executing this co-investment under the program.
