Orbit advises on UVC Partners' participation in Isar Aerospace's EUR 270 million Series D.

The round strengthens Isar Aerospace’s capacity to deliver orbital launches at scale and marks a further step in building independent European access to space. DeepTech investor UVC Partners commits EUR 38 million across its growth funds and a dedicated SPV set up together with KfW Capital as part of the Germany Fund.

The financing reflects a broader shift: space access is moving from a purely commercial and scientific topic to a strategic priority for Europe. Sovereign launch capabilities have become an essential component of technological and geopolitical resilience.

Isar Aerospace is positioned to address this gap. With its integrated production facility near Munich and plans to scale serial manufacturing of the Spectrum launch vehicle, the company is building the infrastructure required for reliable and repeatable launch services.

The round also shows continued commitment from European investors, including HV Capital and Lakestar, to support DeepTech companies at the growth stage – including through co-investment structures that mobilize institutional capital.

Orbit's GP advisory team advised UVC Partners on all fund related aspects of the transaction.
