Orbit advises BID Equity Fund III on its EUR 310m final closing.

BID Equity Fund III closed in July 2023 as the largest @BID Equity fund to date with EUR 310m at the hard cap. The fund was oversubscribed.

The fund focuses on investments in profitable, growing B2B software companies primarily in Europe with a focus on the DACH region. BID Equity follows a buy & build approach to develop market-leading software groups in selected market segments from successful software SMEs.

Institutional investors from Europe and the USA have participated. BID Equity Fund III has already made its first investment in the cybersecurity sector.

Orbit advised BID Equity on all legal aspects of the fund structuring and investor negotiation.
