GREENPEAK closes Fund II at over EUR 100m.

Orbit supported GREENPEAK Partners in successfully closing its second fund in July of 2022.

The Fund, whose portfolio companies include Academia, Certania, Epiona, Viventec, and Paratus closed at EUR 150-200 million, including co-investments.

It has made five platform investments and is now focusing on add-ons, of which there will be three to five per platform per year.

GREENPEAK wants to insulate itself from the current market and is investing in healthcare, business services, and services for real assets, focusing on technology as well as environmental and longevity trends.

Their investing strategy for this new fund is an ESG theme-led, entrepreneurial Buy & Build approach. GREENPEAK acquires stable cashflow generating companies and teams up with buy-in entrepreneurs to connect the two and build larger businesses. This drives consolidation in attractive and pre-identified service niches in the DACH market.
